HigherTech Launches HigherTech Hero Program

There is a Hero in HigherTech.

AUSTIN, Texas — Sept 1, 2008 — HigherTech, a strategic consulting and recruiting firm providing a full-range of workforce management solutions, today announced its HigherTech Hero Program. The HigherTech Hero program was founded in 2008 by HigherTech President Jeff McAdams, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Texas Air National Guard, to help veterans secure a bright future.

  Jeff understands how to help fellow veterans by maximizing the skills they have acquired in the service to land worthwhile careers.  Jeff has also hired a number of military veterans to his own staff.

Today, military veterans are returning home from wars in Iraq and Afghanistan eager to go back to normal life and start their civilian careers.  Unfortunately, the current economic crisis has made the search for employment a battleground of its own.  The U.S. is also witnessing the highest number of disabled veterans returning home, greater than Vietnam, and more than ever these and other returning veterans need help establishing a career so they can live comfortably and provide for their families. The HigherTech Hero program is fully funded by HigherTech, with no cost to the veteran or employer.

“The goal is to give veterans a transition into civilian employment that is as smooth as possible,” said Jeff McAdams,  “We (Americans) promised we’d take care of these folks if they took care of us, they did, now it is time to make good on our end.”
